Two-Day Plein Air Watercolor Workshop with Wyatt Waters

Join Wyatt  for an immersive two-day plein air workshop set in the inspiring community of Plein Air in Taylor, Mississippi. Each morning begins with a live demonstration as Wyatt paints on location, sharing what he’s observing, how he interprets the scene, and the techniques he uses to build a painting from the ground up. Participants are encouraged to ask questions throughout—Wyatt’s demonstrations are known for being both insightful and engaging.

In the afternoon, the group will move into a hands-on painting session. Artists will have the opportunity to apply the approaches and concepts introduced during the morning demo to their own work. During this time, Wyatt will circulate among participants, offering individual guidance, helping troubleshoot challenges, and supporting each painter’s personal approach.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your plein air skills, gain confidence with watercolor, or simply enjoy two days of painting in a beautiful setting, this workshop offers a rich and memorable learning experience.

Retreat Fee: $575 (includes breakfast and lunch meals for both days and a cocktail reception on Wednesday, 4/15.)
