WORKSHOP | Learning to See in Watercolor with Wyatt Waters

Regular price $ 100

LEARNING TO SEE IN WATERCOLOR | ***CLASS FULL***
"Painting is a way of thinking without using words," says Wyatt. "Some things are seen by the eyes. Some things are seen by the heart.  It isn’t necessary to know the difference, but it is important to say, 'This is what I see' with your brush." Wyatt's approach to painting involves working from life with an emphasis on seeing color. He believes that if someone learns how to see, they will teach themselves to paint.
Join us June 1, for a plein air watercolor workshop in Olde Town, Clinton, where Wyatt Waters Gallery is located. The class will take place from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, with an hour lunch break around noon. Bring your own lunch, or enjoy lunch at The Bank, 303 Jefferson, or Pimentos Cafe––all within walking distance of the Gallery. Please be prepared to bring your own supplies, and be advised, it will be hot. The cost of the workshop is $100, which must be paid in advance. A limited number of 15 student spots are available on a first come first serve basis.
